Why Come to Maryland?

Maryland is an interesting state that has a very liberal vibe about it with influences from the South and the North. If you are going to travel there for a few days or a vacation learn about the different seasons and events.

Maryland is a crab state. It is well known for the Maryland Crabs, so it is the perfect place to have a cookout or food gathering. If you are looking for a chill atmosphere away from everything, Ocean City is a good place to go. It is a few hours and it has a really nice eastern shore kind of vibe. There are a lot of interesting shops to check out in Ocean City, a nice boardwalk to enjoy the weather, the beach, and exotic amusement places such as Ripleys Believe it or Not!

Another great thing about Maryland is that it has two major cities such as Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Washington D.C. is a city of its own. You can take the Metro rail to D.C. if you are in the general Washington Metro Area. If you like shopping, then Union Station and Chinatown are some excellent spots to check out food, clothing, and other interesting shops. Also, there are some great zoos and museums to check out like the Spy Museum. Another good place is Baltimore. The Baltimore Orioles is a great baseball team to check out in Downtown, Baltimore. Also, the Inner Harbor is great for shopping, summertime fun, and great for catching some outdoor performances.
