Why Come to Georgia?
From the beautiful mountains of North Georgia to the sunny beaches of Tybee Island, Georgia is full of excitement. Brasstown Bald is the tallest mountain with an elevation of 4,784 feet. From the summit you can see four states (Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee). Waterfalls are everywhere and you can hike, bike, white-water raft, and even take ziplines through the treetops in Lula.
In Atlanta do not miss out on the aquarium. The Georgia Aquarium is the largest in the world and houses over 120,000 animals. Savannah is the place to go for historical and architectural buildings and monuments and is visited by millions per year. Other wonderful areas of Georgia you should be sure to see are Stone Mountain, Helen, and the apple orchards around Ellijay. If food and music are your thing, go see Athens, Savannah, and Atlanta. Georgia is also full of civil war history around Atlanta and Northwest up to the Chickamauga Battlefield.
There is plenty to do and see in Georgia and the possibilities are endless.
