I first saw Dr Grant after having had a failed breast reconstruction surgery with another surgeon. Dr Grant and his staff from the first time I met them put me at ease. Dr Grant is the most compassionate and gentle doctor. He treated me like I was an individual and not like just another patient. His staff did the same - they always greeted me by my name and worked closely with me to assure I had the best experience possible. Since then, I have seen Dr Grant for a variety of cosmetic procedures. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I am eager to write on behalf of Dr. Robert Grant and his wonderful team. I had been morbidly obese, and after working diligently through diet and exercise, lost over 165 pounds of weight, leaving me with a tremendous amount of extra skin and profoundly sagging breasts. My body could best be described as a deflated balloon. I pursued multiple consultations with plastic surgeons in Manhattan, and none impressed me like Dr. Grant. I appreciated his wonderful combination of academic prowess, position and affiliations with the hospitals, and functional expertise. I felt like his skills go well beyond the typical cosmetic surgeons of Park Avenue, and, combined with his phenomenal bedside manner; this made my decision quite easy!
After discussing various surgical options, Dr. Grant recommended I not be overly aggressive in my procedures, as we have to consider the healing process, and how I can achieve the best results with the least amount of down time.
I had an abdominoplasty and breast lift in January of 2008, and was thrilled with the results! Dr. Grant was gracious in answering my many post-surgical questions, was very conscientious about regular follow-up visits to monitor the healing, and just always made himself available to me throughout the process. Additionally, his staff was a pleasure and very responsive to my needs!
I cannot imagine what my quality of life would be had I not had the surgery, and I cannot imagine that I could have had a better experience - both physically and emotionally - had I chosen any other surgeon. Dr. Grant's care, kindness, and quality of work are second to none, and while I hope not to need more surgeries in the future, I certainly know where I'd go if I do!

I went to see several surgeons before seeing Dr. Grant. I was recommended to see him. I called his office and made an appointment and saw him a week after. During the consultation he listened to my concerns about the procedure. He explained what the surgery would involve and what I could expect after the surgery. I left his office feeling very confident and informed. The staff took care of the paper work to present my case to my insurance company. Three weeks later i received a phone call from Dr. Grant's office informing me that the surgery had been approved.
The day of the procedure Dr. Grant stopped by to check how i was doing. The procedure took about 3 1/2 hours and went home after that. I had minimal discomfort or pain after surgery. I felt immediate relief after surgery aside from the swelling everything was perfect.
The biggest shock came when I actually got to see my breasts for the first time. I was terrified to look or touch my surgical bra, for fear that i would do something wrong. I had minimal pain, just swelling. Two weeks later i went to see DR. Grant and he removed the surgical steri- strips and i couldn't have been happier. My breasts were symmetrical, minimal scarring and the areolas were perfect. My new breasts are now in proportion to my body. There is a huge difference between the way i used to feel before and the way i feel now.
It has been two months since my surgery and i couldn't be happier. My whole life has changed completely. My neck and shoulder pain are gone. I am able to wear just one bra instead of 2 or 3 to go to the gym and work out. I am extremely satisfied with my plastic surgeon and trust him totally. He is a great doctor, and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in having any procedure.

I first met Dr. Grant when I developed a double chin. . By using liposuction, he restored my jaw line. Now, whenever I go to see Dr. Grant - it is like visiting the Fountain of Youth. I always leave looking years younger than when I go in. But Dr. Grant has never left me looking unnatural - he keeps just enough wrinkles so that I can be expressive. I do a mean eyebrow lift - it has always been part of my personality - and the way he applies Botox has not changed this. My friends, even those who have had major plastic surgery, are always guessing as to whether or not I have had "work" done.
