Patient Testimonials
Testimonial for Procedure: Breast Implant Revision
Dr. Hainer;
If I could choose the ideal physician and mold a doctor into everything I would want to find as a patient, I couldn't have done it as well as what you are as a physician and as a human being. You performed a breast lift on me and removed implants I had from another physician. I commend you on how you can balance, your kind, sensitive nature and professionalism beyond words. You have given back to me, something I never really even had since I started developing breasts at the age of 13 years old. I was amazed how their was VERY minimal pain after surgery and within 24 hours I was actually doing alot of my normal activities. I returned to work within two days.
You immediately made me feel comfortable with yourself, your staff and the surroundings of your office. The treatment from the entire staff made me feel so welcome. Everyone actually seemed like they cared about me, and I didn't even feel like a patient, I felt like a friend that someone was trying to help out. You repaired the "choppy" work I had from a previous physician. You are phenomenal as a doctor and a person and cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me, mentally and physically. I will definately be back to you if I ever choose more plastic surgery and refer you highly to everyone I know. You have also restored my faith in physicians and am amazed at how symmetrical my new breasts are and what a wonderful job you did. You obviously are talented, not to mention an all around great person. Your honest, sincere and took so much time to sit and listen to my concerns, before and after. It is so rare to run into someone who has all these qualities and talents blended in to one human being.
About 1 1/2 years ago, for my 40th birthday, I had breast implants placed under the muscle, to an already, size 34 D Cup. The reason I chose implants was because after 3 children later, my breast just "fell" to the side and their was no firmness left to them at all. I was so depressed because of the changes beyond my control to my body. Another physician performed this surgery and without explaining to me how much 630cc in each breast would be, I went ahead with the surgery. After surgery, I was a 34 "I" (this is not a typographical error) I was huge. The pain was unbearable and for the entire 1 1/2 years after the surgery, I was in and out of the doctors and hospital trying to figure out why I had pinched nerves, back pain, had to inject epinephrine because I had problems with my throat swelling shut, was breaking out in hives and welts from head to toe. I received steroid injections in my spine, in a series of 4 treatments within 4 weeks, to be able to stand the pain and walk or even drive. There was a pain in my breasts that I could not even explain. I did not sleep one full night since the surgery. When I met you and your staff, I immediately felt comfortable, and at ease. You are the MOST trusting physician I have ever met and I thank you for the way everyone had of making me feel like everyone really cared about the pain and problems and were more concerned about helping me, than anything else.
When you removed the implants, and from what I understood they were infected on the outside of the implant, not to mention too large. After surgery, I felt more like a real human being instead of a "freak". My body immediately had more of a balance to it, and the pain in the breast area, back, neck, and also the hives and welts, never came back again. While some disagree that those symptoms could not be related to the prior implants, I disagree .... no one can answer the question, why did everything get better immediately after surgery. And I mean, immediately. Its a horrible thing to walk around life depressed because of changes that age and being a woman do to your body, but its even worse when you try to correct it, and cry every night because of the work from a "bad surgery". Thank you for correcting someone else's mess and for being who you are. If any of your patients ever want to talk to a real patient to get a real opinion on plastic surgery, please feel free to give them my e-mail and I will be happy to talk to them. Thank you Dr. Hainer.
Nina
