Testimonial for Procedure: Breast Reconstruction
Dr. Geldner is by far the best in his field. I unfortunately learned this the hard way. I’m a breast cancer survivor and have had many surgeries and treatments on both breasts that include mastectomy, lumpectomy, radiation and restrictions. When I met Dr. Geldner it was through Illinois Masonic Hospital with a cancer specialist and surgeon now retired. He recognized that my reconstruction needed to be corrected because it caused me discomfort and low self esteem, the truth is I looked and felt ugly. The cancer specialist worked closely with Dr. Geldner with cancer patients who needed reconstruction. I was blessed to have had him reconstruct an already reconstructed breast. He made me look and feel normal again. Later when cancer returned in my other breast Dr. Geldner took care of me and reconstructed that breast as well. I would recommend everyone and anyone, but especially those whom I know and love to him. I know I’m in good hands with him, therefore I have recommended him to family and friends. The fact is, if he can make me look and feel normal with my deformities because of my cancer, he can make someone normal look incredible. There is no better referral than one of his patients. I no longer have implants I have real breasts again. The tissue was taken from my tummy so my tummy is flat and I look and feel great. He did an excellent job. If you are in need of breast surgery especially reconstruction because of cancer ask him to let you see some before and after shots and see for yourself.
