This review is long overdue, and I am writing this because I have been so satisfied with the care and attention I’ve received from Dr. Nichter and his entire team over the last year. The surgeons and staff at Pacific Center have been just wonderful with me. I went in for an initial consultation with Dr. Larry Nichter in 2009 to assess a facial scar I’ve had since childhood. He could not have been more welcoming and sensitive. He explained the options clearly and made me feel almost like a family member he would talk care of to the best of the abilities science offers. On the day of my surgery, his staff was so friendly and courteous to both me and my friend who came for emotional support, and I remember just falling asleep to the comforting sounds of everyone involved with the procedure. A year later, I am extremely happy with the results, and still feel free to contact Dr. Nichter via email to discuss how my scar is healing and the procedures available to continue to improve its appearance over time. December 2010, I had a Breast Augmentation with an Areola Reduction w/ Dr. Nichter. As you probably may know by now, it is very nerve reckon and emotional when it comes to which surgeon is right for you and what size will be best fit for your physique or wants. Dr. Nichter has definitely been very informative with all my questions, even offered more, and took his time to listen to my needs and wants without making me feel rushed but at ease. He definitely listened rather than telling me, also recommended but made assured that it is my decision and what I know will be best for me. The day of Surgery, it was very pleasant from the nurses in the surgery room with outgoing and upbeat personalities, to the anesthesiologist who showed graciousness, to Dr. Nichter, who assured me of the procedures that will be performed. This definitely made my nerves calm and felt I was in the hands of a good Surgeon and his team. In addition, Dr. Nichter took additional time to assure that I will get the results I wanted, he could of just done what he can and leave it at that but as a very pleasing Surgeon he is, he wanted to make it possible. In which, he did and that was very gratifying. To know that a surgeon is willing to do what it takes to get the results of a patients wants is all that you can ask for. Never have expectations and when it happens, just be grateful. I have always been a very happy and loving person. I had lots of confidence and self esteem. After having 3 kids w/ a very supportive husband, my breast was never the same and was ashamed to show my Husband as well as alter my style of clothing. I felt like I had everything going in my life except for that one thing. Thanks to Dr. Nichter, he has given me that extra boost of confidence and self esteem. I am now complete. I don’t have any complaints or regrets. My husband loves it and I have gotten many compliments from my friends and family. I am currently 16 weeks Post-op and can say I am 100% satisfied with my results and experience. I have not encounter any terrible recovery, any complications, or complaints. But when I did have questions or concerns, Dr. Nichter and his nurses returned my calls the same day. If they were extremely busy, their staff would call to let me know that I will get a return call as soon as a nurse is available. They are very attentive to their patients. LOVE THAT! Dr. Nichter and his staff are the best in the business! I had a tummy tuck a couple of years ago with another surgeon, and never during the whole process was I ever given the type of attention and care that Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery in HB given me. In Dec. 2010, I decided to have some lipo performed by Dr. Nichter and he explained the whole process from beginning to end, so I would know what to expect. He allowed me to ask all the questions I had, and he answered, thoroughly, every single one!! I did not feel rushed at any time and every minute I was there, his staff made sure I was comfortable. The main thing that I will always remember, is when I came home that afternoon after lipo surgery, Dr. Nichter personally called me (NOT his staff) that evening to ask and make sure I was doing okay. As a professional in the medical field I opted for Dr. Nichter after extensive research. Several years ago I had cosmetic work done in a hospital under general anesthesia, recovery was long and the end result disappointing. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Nichter's work. For those of you vacillating on having cosmetic work due to fear of not having a general anesthetic, let me tell you, I was not aware of the procedure taking place,did not experience pain, I used pain medication only once, your face is swollen and it’s frightening on the 3rd day but it gradually decreases, I was able to tolerate liquid diet the next day, plan on 1 or 2 weeks off work. I am very happy with the results, Dr. Nichter and staff provided all the info I required and I was not pressured during the initial consultation. I felt safe under their care.
