Dr. Wall, Jr., specializes in cutting-edge surgical techniques such as endoscopic breast surgery with minimal incisions, dramatic and personalized mommy makeovers, and SAFELipo™ body contouring. He is renowned in the plastic surgery community for the creation and development of SAFELipo, a breakthrough process for liposuction in Louisiana for the creation of dramatic, yet smooth and even results with less tissue trauma. This method is unique in that it equalizes the thin layer of fat just beneath the skin for a smoother appearance, and creates significant results with little to no bruising and less discomfort than other methods. Dr. Wall, Jr., often uses SAFELipo to correct irregularities from liposuction procedures performed at other practices. As the foremost authority on SAFELipo, he has published, lectured, and presented extensively on this topic. Dr. Wall's Louisiana cosmetic surgery patients have been featured in magazines such as Playboy, Woman's World, and Allure, and have been seen on The Discovery Channel and E!, among others.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Wall, Jr., is active in Interplast, a philanthropic organization that recruits plastic surgeons to perform cleft lip and palate surgery for children in countries where they would otherwise lack access to plastic surgeons. Testimonials from the patients of Dr. Simeon Wall
Testimonial for Procedure: Body Contouring
A year and a half ago, I weighed 349 pounds," says a now slender Val. "I had been overweight since I was 12 and failed in diet after diet. But finally,I found a weight loss method that worked and in just over a year, I lost 182 pounds through a new weight-loss system* that focuses on changing our perspective and actions in order to lose weight. It involves a lot of emotional support with discussion groups and a personal journal."
But rapid weight loss is tough on the body. Often, the skin tone doesn't snap back as fast, leaving unattractive, loose skin in certain areas. In these cases, the only solution is cosmetic surgery.
Val knew it was time to look into her options. "I had always thought that plastic surgery was reserved for the really rich Hollywood types but I soon learned that I could afford it. It would be my ticket back to a normal appearance and body image."
She met with various physicians. They told her that the work she needed done was complicated and needed a specialist. They referred her to Dr. Wall.
Val remembers their first meeting. "When I walked in I didn't have a clue," she remembers. "I didn't even know what to call the procedure I needed to have. To be honest, I was scared to death at the thought of surgery. But when I finally met Dr. Wall, he eased my fears by explaining everything in very simple terms. He also focused on all the positives about my weight-loss so I didn't feel bad about the negatives, that is the excess skin. Also, rather than telling me what he was 'going to do,' Dr.Wall told me what he 'could' do. He let me call the shots and decide how to proceed."
During her first surgery, Dr. Wall removed excess skin from Val's abdomen and lower body. A series of subsequent surgeries improved other areas around her body tightening the skin tone back to a normal look.
Today, Val is confident and optimistic. "After I lost the weight, I would still wear baggy clothes because I wasn't toned up," she remembers. "It wasn't until after the surgery that my confidence soared. I have a flat stomach now and I buy clothes that show off my figure. I wear makeup and do my hair because I realize I can look good. Surgery has made me look so natural that most people don't believe me when I tell them I used to weigh a lot more. I couldn't be happier."
Testimonial for Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Many joys accompany motherhood. Unfortunately, the toll it takes on the body is not one of them. After having her third child, Cathy started to seriously contemplate plastic surgery to help her regain the figure she had before childbirth. Her husband, Carlos, wasn't so sure. "At first, I didn't want her to have it done because, honestly, I didn't think she needed it and I was concerned about the risks. It was more of a personal thing for her."
But Cathy persisted. "She did her homework before she went through with the process," Carlos notes. Via the Internet, Cathy learned more about breast augmentation in Louisiana and she also started looking at doctors' credentials and experience. "It was hard to find the right doctor at first."she confides. "The first two I visited just didn't seem right. One really seemed to be in it for the money and the other knew what he wanted to do, but didn't pay much attention to what I wanted from the procedure."
"Then, a friend told me about Dr. Wall so I decided to call the office. Since I live in Houston, I thought it would be a hassle, but the staff was wonderful and very responsive. When my husband and I drove to Shreveport to meet with Dr. Wall, I was very impressed. He was so concerned with me and what I wanted. Dr. Wall explained the procedure so well to me that I didn't have any questions after the consultation," Cathy remembers. Carlos felt better after talking to Dr. Wall as well. "His input on the procedure and the long-term effects, eased my mind. He as also clearly going to do what Cathy wanted to give her the look she desired."
Cathy decided to go ahead with the procedure with Dr. Wall as her surgeon. In the end, Cathy is happy with the decision to have cosmetic surgery. "I was even more satisfied by the results than I had originally thought possible. I would definitely do it all over again."Her husband is also happy with the results. "I think she's just more confident with her appearance now," he says. "She smiles a lot more perhaps - at least it seems that way. I'm glad she did it if only because of how happy it has made her."
Cathy agrees. "I feel better about the way I look and my self-esteem has soared. I feel comfortable in a bikini and it's nice to be able to wear spaghetti straps again. I definitely have no regrets."
