New York Plastic Surgeon Thomas P. Sterry, MD

Dr. Sterry is a native of the New York area. He attended Stony Brook University and received his Bachelors degree in 1987. He then proceeded to the City University of New York and earned his Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. He returned to Stony Brook for medical school and graduated with an "M.D. with Distinction in Research" degree in recognition of his extensive laboratory experience.

Upon graduating from medical school, Dr. Sterry trained in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. During his training he published several original articles and presented his research at national meetings. After completing his training in plastic surgery, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
