About the Surgeon
Dr. Maffi completed his plastic surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, which has been consistently ranked by US News and World Reports as one of the top two medical centers in the country. He completed his five year general surgery residency in Phoenix, Arizona, and is certified by the American Boards of Surgery and Plastic Surgery. Dr. Maffi, a native of Northern California who completed his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University, earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine with highest honors.
Dr. Maffi specializes in both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He has had extensive training in aesthetic facial rejuvenation surgery, such as facelift, forehead lift, facial liposuction, nasal surgery, and eyelid surgery, and is also skilled in the latest aesthetic breast and body contouring procedures.
Dr. Maffi also has a special interest in caring for the under-served and those who are less fortunate. He devotes time to the Maricopa County Hospital performing complex facial reconstruction and has traveled to third world countries, such as Viet Nam, performing correction of congenital defects, such as congenital cleft lip and palate deformities.
