Dr. Hicks was born in Cincinnati and raised in Hamilton, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, and his medical degree from Cornell University College of Medicine in New York. After Cornell, he returned to Ohio where he completed five years of general surgery residency training at Wright State University School of Medicine. He also completed his three-year plastic surgery residency at Wright State University. Dr. Hicks is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, and is a candidate for membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
