About the Doctor
Steven L Ringler MD, FACS has been practicing plastic surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 1983.
Dr. Ringler is well recognized locally, nationally and internationally as a prominent plastic surgeon. Having extensive training and experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Ringler's practice is now exclusively dedicated to all areas of cosmetic surgery with particular expertise in
Facial rejuvenation surgery - including short incision face lifts (MACS lift)
Cosmetic breast surgery - including scarless breast augmentation with saline implants
Body contouring - including liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck)

In addition to his practice, Dr. Ringler is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University. He is the director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program of the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center/MSU.

His outreach activities include founder and medical director of the Michigan Chapter of Operation Smile International, a non-profit volunteer medical program. With Operation Smile, Dr. Ringler has performed reconstructive surgery to children in many developing countries and the United States since 1989. Under Dr. Ringlers leadership, the Michigan Chapter of Operation Smile has provided free surgical care for more than one thousand children over the past fifteen years.
