About Dr. Vega
Dr. Stephen Vega is a native of California, but has been on the East Coast for eighteen years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Amherst College and went on for medical school to the University Of Pennsylvania on a 21st Century Scholarship; a prestigious full tuition merit based award. He did his plastic surgery residency and medical training at the University of Rochester. He completed a fellowship in microsurgery and breast reconstruction under the mentorship of Dr. Joseph M. Serletti.
Dr Vega is a member of the following associations- American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgery (NESPS), and American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons (ASRM).
Dr Vega has been privileged to meet and get to know the stories of many patients and their families. After four years as a faculty member at the University of Rochester, he has decided to open his own private practice. This will allow him to better care for his patients in both cosmetic and reconstructive microsurgery. He remains committed providing excellent services to his patients and referring physicians in the Greater Rochester community. He looks forward to making your plastic surgery experience a satisfying one with beautiful, natural looking results.
