About the Doctor
Dr. Afridi specializes in breast surgery and body contouring. She has extensive training and experience in breast augmentation, revision or redo breast augmentation, breast lifts or mastopexy, augmentation mastopexy or combined breast lift with implants, and breast reduction. Her breast reduction technique focuses on reducing scarring and providing her patients with excellent breast shape. Dr. Afridi utilizes the vertical breast reduction and breast lift technique which eliminates the unsightly “anchor scar” traditionally used in breast reduction.
Dr. Afridi does extensive liposuction as well as body contouring with abdominoplasty or tummy tuck procedures. She also does lower body lifts and beltline tummy tucks.
Most importantly, as a new mother and a plastic surgeon, Dr. Afridi particularly understands the needs of women who want to experience the joys of family but wish to restore their pre-baby physiques. She provides what some refer to as “mommy makeovers” but Dr. Afridi terms “post-maternity body reshaping”. Dr. Afridi knows from personal experience that pregnancy affects women very differently. For this reason, she has developed a customized surgical treatment plan, utilizing a variety of the above-mentioned procedures, which she tailors specifically for each patient’s goals and needs.
