Dr. Li received his medical degree from UCLA, graduating with honors and as a member of an elite seven-year program. He completed a rigorous five-year surgical program at USC, followed by a plastic surgery residency at Penn State University. Dr. Li was inducted into the honor medical society Alpha Omega Alpha by recommendation of the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Penn State.
Dr. Li completed medical school at UCLA at the relatively young age of 24. He has now been a surgeon for over 20 years and has been in practice as a plastic surgeon for more than 14 years. Although his experience is extensive in training, practice and teaching, he is, and has been for a number of years, exclusively an aesthetic plastic surgeon.
Dr. Li has served as Chief of Plastic Surgery, Vice Chairman of the Division of Surgery, and Chief of Staff Elect at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. He is former director of the Inland Regional Burn Center and was cofounder of Arrowhead Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery Associates in 2002.
Dr. Li is an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He has trained young plastic surgeons since 1994 in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. In addition, he has served as Director of the Cosmetic and Aesthetic Surgery Rotation for surgeons in training. He has also served as the Director of the Reconstructive and Burn Rotation for Loma Linda University resident physicians on rotation at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for a decade.
