About the Surgeon
I received my undergraduate training at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where I graduated with honors in 1987. I attended The University of North Carolina Medical School, where I was the recipient of a Howard Hughes fellowship and grants from NASA and the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation for research on bone growth.
In 1993 I came to Utah, for a surgery residency at The University of Utah Medical School. Here I completed six years of training in general surgery and board certification in that specialty. During this time I had two lovely children. I completed a plastic surgery residency at The University of Utah Medical School, as well as a pediatric craniofacial surgery fellowship with the internationally recognized plastic surgeon, Dr. Louis Morales. I have recently relocated my practice to a beautiful new office near the base of Cottonwood canyon in Cottonwood Heights.
