About the Doctor

Dr. Kolb, an experienced military surgeon who is board-certified in plastic surgery, is now providing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Richmond, Indiana. Dr. Kolb has over 25 years' military experience and many years in practicing plastic surgery for the U.S. Armed Forces, including an assignment as Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. Modern plastic surgery was born in military hospitals, and many common surgical procedures used today were invented to save, heal and restore the appearance of soldiers injured in war. Dr. Kolb brings that knowledge and experience to the residents of eastern Indiana and western Ohio with his plastic surgery practice based at Reid Hospital & Health Care Services in Richmond.
Dr. Kolb specializes in breast reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. He also performs eyelid surgery, birth mark removal, body contouring, face lifts and other facial surgery, laser hair removal, breast implant revision, and rhinoplasty, among others.
