About the Doctor
Dr. Daniel Kuy M.D., brings something special to the patients in his successful, highly-respected cosmetic surgery practice. He brings a multicultural point-of-view. It is a perspective based on being the only plastic surgeon in the TRI-state area with an active practice both here and abroad, in Zürich, Switzerland. The advantage to being a physician living and practicing in Europe and The United States is Exposure to differing procedures, innovations and professional colleagues.
Dr. Kuy's multicultural point-of-view is also aesthetic. Aesthetics is the branch of philosophy dealing with the nature, creation and appreciation of beauty. Beauty is a universal concept, but is also culturally defined. Sometimes what is perceived as beautiful by the culture, may instead be fashionable, and thus temporary. Having the perspective of being both a cultural insider and outsider has greatly aided in the counseling and emotional aspects of the practice.
