About the Surgeon
Dr. Staebel is a native Texan and grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station where he graduated with Honors for his undergraduate training. He continued his medical school training at the Texas A&M College of Medicine again graduating with Honors in May, 2000. Following graduation, he accepted a position at the Scott & White Hospital Plastic Surgery Residency program in Temple, Texas. There he completed a comprehensive six-year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery receiving thorough training in all facets of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic surgery. His final year was served as chief resident. Following his training he successfully completed the 18 month process for board certification and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Staebel holds clinical privileges in Plastic Surgery at several hospitals and surgery centers in Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park and north Austin.
Dr. Staebel receives the vast majority of his patients from patient and physician referrals. He is active in his local medical community and is currently serving as Chief of Surgery at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. Although his schedule is hectic, Dr. Staebel provides his skills and training to patients in need at the local emergency rooms on an ongoing basis.
Dr. Staebel is first and foremost a physician to his patients. He prides himself in only providing services that have a proven track record of safety and effectiveness. Cosmetic surgery is a very personal decision and patients need to be fully informed on what to expect so they can make the decision that is best for them. Often, there are several options that can lead to a given result. Dr. Staebel performs surgery with the patients' goals in mind. He has a special interest in breast and body contouring surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Staebel likes to spend time with his family, on personal fitness and on his ever expanding list of household projects.
