About the Surgeon
Dr. Christopher J. Schaffer specializes in plastic and aesthetic surgery of the face, breasts, body, and skin. He has extensive experience in the latest surgical and minimally-invasive procedures and is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals with both surgical and non-surgical options.
Dr. Schaffer graduated from the University of Nebraska, majoring in Life Sciences, before earning his medical doctorate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed residencies at Temple University Hospital, Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Schaffer served for 16 years in the Army Reserve Medical Corps, obtaining the rank of Major, and was deployed in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Dr. Schaffer is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
