Dr. Caroline Glicksman is a board-certified plastic surgeon with offices in Sea Girt and Red Bank, New Jersey.
“Honesty, warmth and experience are the foundations of my practice. As a child of a radiation oncologist and an ER nurse, I grew up with an understanding of both the science and art of medicine. As a wife and mother of four teenagers, I have a unique connection with my patients that I believe only a woman and mother can provide.
From their first consultation, patients notice the warm, friendly atmosphere of my office. I don’t run my practice like a plastic surgery factory. I've based my practice on the philosophy that an educated patient will make better, safer decisions, and I personally spend a great deal of time with every patient. Consultations, I believe, should be informative, pleasant, and without pressure to schedule a procedure. Neither the staff, nor myself will ever recommend an operation or product that you don't need. In fact, I would rather see you leave the office well informed, without an operation, than undergo an unnecessary procedure.
Over the last 18 years the focus of my practice has been women's breast health. In the late 1990's I fought to mandate insurance coverage for breast reconstruction, and for 15 years worked nationally with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), as well as the manufacturers of breast implants, to bring safe gel implants back to the United States. As a clinical investigator for five breast implant studies, all of my breast augmentation patients are assured long-term follow-up. No breast implant patient is ever discharged. Only by following patients over the years can a surgeon improve their outcomes. Patients should always choose a surgeon who will place their best interests and safety first.”
