About the Doctor
Dr. Andrew P. Trussler is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He has specialized, fellowship training in cosmetic surgery and strives to provide advanced surgical techniques with compassionate care. Dr. Trussler received his undergraduate and medical school degrees from the University of Southern California. He graduated both programs with numerous academic accolades, as well being an All-American and 4 year member of the Men’s Varsity Swimming Team at USC.
Dr. Trussler completed his full general surgery training at The University of Michigan and then completed the plastic surgery training program at UCLA. During his time in Los Angeles he developed an interest in cosmetic surgery which inspired him to complete the one year cosmetic surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He has lectured and presented in numerous national plastic surgery meetings, as well authored multiple plastic surgery manuscripts and book chapters.
His practice is located at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in the new, state-of –art Outpatient Clinical Building. He also enjoys staff privileges at many of the area hospitals in the Dallas Metroplex.
