Dr. Ditesheim graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is a graduate of the New York University School of Medicine, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Having completed his general surgery training and a two-year research fellowship at the Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. Ditesheim took his plastic surgery training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Ditesheim is the recipient of the Robert H. Ivy Society Award and the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation Scholarship Competition. Dr. Ditesheim has been selected to be in What's New in Plastic Surgery and is co-author of over a dozen publications. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the North Carolina Medical Society. He is in private practice in Charlotte, NC; his special areas of interest are in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body.
