About the Surgeon

Lawrence Tong, MD, of the Straith Clinic, maintains a philosophy of providing outstanding patient care while utilizing the safest and most advanced surgical techniques. He will address each patient's concerns and provide an honest, ethical and expert opinion in cosmetic and plastic surgery. Dr. Tong possesses expertise in all facets of plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.

Dr. Tong graduated from medical school at the University of Toronto and did his ACGME accredited specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. He is board-certified in plastic surgery. In addition to his surgical experience, Dr. Tong was active in medical research and among his accomplishments, are multiple scientific publications and presentations at the national meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons, and the Plastic Surgery Research Council.
